The Thruster system is the heart of the SmoothStar ride.
Designed for surfing, it transforms the way the board handles. The Thruster system allows the truck to move in both horizontal and vertical directions. This means the deck can be angled far beyond what a normal skateboard allows, giving you tighter turns and the ability to work speed into the board without having to push.
In a flat area, like a carpark, you can just ride around making as many turns as you want. Pushing on the tail, will drive the board forward. Like riding an endless wave. You can even ride uphill.

On hills, the Smoothstar holds really well, and it's easy turning means you can control your speed by carving from side to side.

Of course, you should always ride within your limits and wear the appropriate safety gear.
