I like the Smoothstar because it has helped me with tighten up my turns. Especialy on my backhand also because of the way the board is designed.
It has helped me with my flow along the wave, which is so important. Even my coach thinks my flow has improved heaps. This also helps keep speed up in small waves and most of our comps latey have been in small waves.
I've been able to ride up and down hills, which helps develop my leg strength for pushing my surfboard. It's like having a seceret training wave.
